I think you may have heard / seen something similar to this video, which is about how behavior affect our performance. The most interesting part of this video is the speaker Amy Cuddy who sharing her own experiences and how she applied her theory into her real life.
When I started this blog 8 years ago, I have thought about writing this in English and I end up chosen to present my blog in Chinese writing. The reason I wanted to use Chinese is because it would be a great way for me to practice my Chinese input technique. Although I don't think my typing skill is very good now, I'm capable to handle most of the jobs which required the skill. The true is I'm not confident enough to present my thought in English and worry people may get confuse by my poor English writing.
I have learned something about myself from someone's comments that I am a person who would either put all the eggs into one basket or put into nothing at all, and there is no in between. After I have thought about the way I handling things, I totally agree with this person. I believe that the way I acted could be a good thing and a bad thing as well. In order for me to avoid the bad thing happening, I should make some changing and so I started to write my blog by using both Chinese and English. Because finding a way to practice my English writing is as important as to learn typing Chinese for me. It is obvious that only one basket is not the best way for self-improvement.
